Kansas is the home of many unique places, attractions and people. Amongst those Amelia Earhart. The woman who remains an iconic representative of women in flight and who is still shrouded in mystery after her disappearance is originally from the state and now is honored in several unique ways in her hometown of Atchison. With a museum telling the story of her life, a unique park called the International Forest of Friendship and a unique Earth Works, it is worth a visit!
