Tips For Visiting Wind Cave National Park: Know Before You Go

Wind Cave National Park is the home of the largest concentration of boxwork formations in the US. Located in the Black Hills of South Dakota, this unique location was first discovered by the Native Americans which roamed the area. They noticed a passage which seemed to breathe from within. It became known as the Wind Cave as a result. A visit in modern day, you can visiting and learn more in the visitor center, take a hike around the park where there are roaming bison and prairie dogs or take a tour through the cave on one of the guided ranger tours.
