Hiking At A Former Volcano, Beacon Rock

Beacon Rock rests along the Colombia River as one of Washington's more unique mountainous structures. At some point it was determined that a path should be erected around the towering feature to allow hiking toward the top. With numerous switchbacks, narrow passages and a very interesting layout this hike is one for the bucket list in Washington as it allows you unmatched views of the southern most boundary of the state.
