Haunted Or Hoax? What Makes The Stanley Hotel So Creepy?

If you are a fan of horror movies you have likely heard the many tales of the Stanley Hotel. It is credited with inspiring Stephen King to create The Shining and additionally has been said to have through its haunted history played the part in numerous other unique storylines. However, what it is that truly makes the Stanley Hotel so creepy? Perhaps it is the underground tunnels or the on site medium. Maybe it is the daunting interior decor or the grand staircase that looks oh so ominous. Perhaps the labyrinth in the front or the way that things seem to echo down from the mountains. One thing is certain, this historic hotel has many stories to tell and any visit is a little hair-raising.
