Texas Rangers Move Forward With Plans For Museum & Heritage Center

Fredericksburg, Texas might be most well known for wineries and friendly people but did you know that long before the more modern Fredericksburg, the town was one of the central hubs for the Texas Rangers? With Rangers seeking refuge in Fort Martin Scott, they called this home as one of their outposts in the earliest days of Texas. Throughout the years they have continued to honor the traditions of the original Texas Rangers in this area and now in present day they are ready to take their next steps with the Texas Ranger Heritage Center, a groundbreaking museum designed to tell the stories of the Rangers uniquely.
