(ALAMEDA COUNTY, Calif.) The Alameda County MED-Project offers residents a free and safe disposal option for medical needles and unused or expired medicines.

The project, which was created through a local and federal partnership in 2018, has multiple drop-off locations and also accepts mail-ins.
