ALCO MED-Project offers free needle, medicine disposal

(ALAMEDA COUNTY, Calif.) The Alameda County MED-Project offers residents free and safe options to dispose of unwanted or unused medicines and needles.

The program, made possible through a federal partnership, has drop-off locations for mobile residents. Additionally, residents can send their sharps and medicines safely through the mail, avoiding any travel or possible hassle.
