For Women's History Month, owner & CEO of local construction firm honored for her work

(OAKLAND, Calif.) In honor of Women's History Month, the owner and CEO of construction and project management firm AnchorCM is being recognized by a local insurance firm for her work between the county and construction companies.

Bisa Grant, who has been working at AnchorCM for 12 years, said she acquired the business from her former employer who went into retirement.

The firm is certified as a minority- and women-owned business enterprise and a disadvantaged business enterprise. among other designations.

AnchorCM has worked on projects such as the Robber Dam and Fishway project for the Alameda County Water District, the Marina Paving project in Berkeley and the Albany Beach Restoration Project.
