The Rainbow Community Center of Contra Costa County is putting on a virtual support group for parents, guardians and caregivers that meets every second Thursday of the month.

Contra Costa County looking for Mailing Machine Operator

The Contra Costa County Public Works Department is looking to fill a Mailing Machine Operator position. The permanent, full-time position starts at just over $43,000 annual salary. According to the post, interested applicants must have a valid California Driver's License and at least one year of experience operating and maintaining bulk mailroom equipment.

Celebrate Diwali in Alameda County

The Heritage House at the Alameda County Fairgrounds is helping county residents celebrate Diwali. The county, in partnership with the Hindu American Foundation, ISKCON and Sewa International, decorated the Heritage House with festive decorations in homage of the holiday.
