Crown Point-based Diversified Marketing Strategies (DMS) is pleased to announce that Michelle Pannell has been promoted to vice president of the organization.
Pannell joined DMS in 2019 as a marketing and project coordinator where her in-depth skills in vendor/client relationship management quickly became an asset to the company.
Her work focuses on numerous marketing initiatives for hundreds of DMS clients, including unique employee recognition/incentive programs and the sourcing of special promotional items or gifts through her network of international vendors. This often involves creating in-house company webstores for clients, coordinating embroidery and silk screen production for corporate apparel, and assisting clients with the selection of branded promotional items for tradeshows, giveaways, other business events.
In her new role, Pannell will have a more direct role in nurturing client relationships and employee oversight, in addition to serving as a point person for many of the company’s other operations involving business events, association management, and marketing strategies.
“Our clients express a great amount of confidence and comfort as they work with Michelle on their projects – especially when their goals are highly targeted or specialized. She sources and develops incredible promotional items and delivers very creative marketing outcomes,” said Andrea Pearman, president and CEO. “Her skills are a natural fit for a leadership position, and we’re thrilled to announce her promotion to vice president.”
“I’m very excited about this new role,” Pannell said. “I’m always amazed by all of the creative ideas and projects that our company completes for our customers, and this new position will enable our team to build even stronger relationships with all of the different industries we serve.”
Prior to joining DMS, Pannell spent more than 31 years working with Town and Country Industries, Inc. in Crown Point. While there, she ascended through various leadership roles including chief marketing officer and vice president of direct selling to corporate accounts. Several of her accounts during that time were Fortune 500 organizations, and she also cultivated an extensive network of vendor contacts that continues to grow to this day.
