Meet Rosso Coffee Roaster, located in Avalon Park, Orlando, Florida.
We can all agree that coffee is an important part of your everyday life, such as getting up, running out the door to work, or whatever the day holds for us. Coffee is an essential part of life, and you want to know when you have that first sip of the day that you can rely on that first cup to get the day rolling in the right direction.
At Rosso Coffee Roasters, I had the opportunity to spend the day with the owner named Karen. As she shared with me her story through coffee, I also had the opportunity to taste some too. Her coffee spoke with unbelievable flavors, a great body, fruity notes, and great acidity.
Before we dive in, let me take you back in time before Karen and coffee collided. Before her days running a business and crafting coffee art, she spent her time outdoors playing golf and enjoying the game of tennis.
You can say Karen was quite the athlete in her earlier days before this all developed. It would be a lie to say she knew something in her life was missing. She experienced many personal struggles before having the idea to impact her community one cup at a time.
She expressed to me about one day coming across an article she read in a magazine about how children around the world and even in our local community go hungry each day. I could sense that it struck a chord when she read this, then she went to work on how she could incorporate her love for coffee and helping those in need.
She spent many years hustling, learning how to craft the perfect coffee, learning about how to create great body and taste, and making it her own. She received her certificate in Korean, where she grew up before she came to the states with her husband. While living in Florida, she developed her plan to create coffee in a roasting facility. Once she got that to a pat she moved toward a permanent location, where she is today. She continued to break through barriers, never letting others stop her from her path to service.
Today she enjoys serving others, bringing a warm smile to their face, building one-on-one connections with her guests, and having a goal to help children receive sponsorships through her business. I hope you enjoyed getting to know Karen, the owner of Rosso Coffee Roasters. If you are ever in the neighborhood, come in and see Karen enjoy a cup and say hit.
