The Best Things to Buy at NY Aldi Stores Right Now

Bryce Gruber

If you live in New York and regularly shop at Aldi, you've probably noticed the popular discount store's influx of new, spring-ready merchandise. Stores from the New York City area throughout Upstate are dripping in new goodies.

Here's what New York shoppers should snatch up at Aldi this week:

Everything's coming up floral at Aldi right now, with near-perfect Reese's peanut butter bunny dupes, foil-wrapped chocolate eggs, pre-made gift baskets and more starting well under $1. We found some of the best Easter gifts for kids including coloring books and toys under $3.

We found 500-thread count sheets sets marked below $35. While it's not the absolute cheapest price ever, these are basically the same sheets you'll find on Amazon for over $70.

Kids' bedding is also more affordable than ever

Load up on these dupes for Pottery Barn sheets that fit neatly over your best Walmart twin mattresses, kids' mattresses and high-end bedding alike. At $9.99 per multi-piece set, you can't really afford to pass this one by.

The Kingston, New York Aldi had multiple prints and colors in stock as of yesterday, but you'll want to hurry up. They were flying off shelves.

Vegan supplements and vitamins

We found AVC gummies that are flat-out clones of the more expensive Goli gummies, except these are under $7. Yes, they're vegan! Other in-stock vegan gummy options included elderberry for immunity and multivitamins.
Speaking of healthy things... Coho salmon is also just $9.99 per pound right now. This one isn't new, per se, but typically is sold out across New York state (or in low supply). Right now there's plenty of Lent-perfect fish to be had, so scoop some up before shelves are bare again.

A few other things we saw that are new to New York Aldi stores this week:

  • Oversized shag rugs under $100
  • Coir entryway rugs for $6.99
  • Pacifiers for newborns under $7
  • Dark chocolate bars for .99 cents each
  • Head & Shoulders shampoo for $3.99
