US Foods is one of America's leading food distributors servicing restaurants, the healthcare industry, and more. They offer more than 350,000 national brand products and their own high-quality private label items ranging from meats to produce to frozen foods.

US Foods is headquartered in Rosemont, Illinois, and operates more than 70 distribution facilities across the United States.

The company provides food and related products to more than 250,000 customers, including independent and multi-unit restaurants, healthcare and hospitality entities, and government, and educational institutions.

They have now announced 3 new stores opening in the mid-Atlantic region.

According to the May 15 article "US Foods Readies 3 New Chef’Store Locations", a new store will be opened in Roanoke, Virginia in the next couple of months. The expectation is that it's going to be in the fall.

The forthcoming stores will occupy a space ranging from 20,000 to 23,500 square feet. They will be filled with necessary restaurant supplies and grocery items.

In 2022, the company had 28,000 employees and these new stores will be good news for the people in the area looking for a job.
