Back in January, Nordstrom reported relocating to a different Birmingham location later this year.

According to an announcement by the company, a 27,000-square-foot space has been designated for the new store's location. The relocation is scheduled to take place during the spring season.

“Nordstrom Rack has served the Birmingham community since we first opened our doors here in 2013,” Geevy Thomas, president of Nordstrom Rack, said in a statement. “We are excited to move our store to The Summit and bring our customers access to the best brands at the best prices, in a newly designed space. We have been focused on offering a mix of quality brands that cater to different lifestyles, sizes and trends, to fit every customers’ style needs.”
