Introduction

Major companies like CVS are constantly under fire in the media for several things.

But now CVS, an American retailer in Pharmacy is getting backlash because a woman from Angleton, Texas says she has been given the wrong medication.

So it's always a good idea to double-check what you take home.

CVS, 2023

According to the May 24 article by BestLifeOnline, she claimed to have been through the store's drive-through with her son yesterday, according to the KPRC 2 in Houston, to pick up two prescriptions.

She requested her son to bring her a pill from the first prescription while she waited for the pharmacist to obtain the second one.

"He placed it on the console of my vehicle and I proceeded to tell him to go ahead and give me one because I needed to take it," the woman told KPRC 2. "He just handed it to me, and I just popped it into my mouth and didn't think anything of it. But once I got down the road, that's when I looked down and realized it didn't look anything like what I have at home."

In the BestLifeOnline article, they state that this isn't the first time it happened at CVS: in 2019, 2020, and last month, several cases were found where CVS was wrong with medications. Read more in their article about that.
