USPS is Suspending Service in Parts of California

According to Wikipedia, the United States Postal Service (USPS), also known as the Post Office, U.S. Mail, or Postal Service, is an independent agency of the executive branch of the federal government of the United States that is responsible for providing postal service in the United States, including its insular areas and the states that are associated with it.

Other names for the USPS include the Post Office, U.S. Mail, and Postal Service. It is one of the few governmental agencies that the Constitution of the United States of America gives express permission to operate.

As of the year 2021, the United States Postal Service (USPS) has a total workforce of 516,636 career workers and 136,531 non-career employees.

Today, the USPS announced to temporarily suspend services at the following post offices in California:

  • California Hot Springs, 42231 Hot Springs Dr., 93207-9998
  • Frazier Park, 512 Monterey Trl., 93225-9998
  • Hume Lake, 64144 Hume Lake Rd., 93628-9601
  • Keene, 30235 Woodford Tehachapi Rd., 93531-9997
  • Kings Canyon, 86724 Highway 180, 93633-9800
  • Lake Arrowhead, 28150 Highway 189, 92352-9997
  • Lebec, 2132 Lebec Rd., 93243-9998
  • Long Barn, 25955 Long Barn Dr., 95335-9998
  • Midpines, 6629 State Highway 140, 95345-9998
  • Posey, 42575 Old Stage Rd., 93260-9998
  • Running Springs, 2641 Palo Alto Way, 92382-0481
  • SkyForest, 951 Kuffel Canyon Rd., 92385-0400
  • Twain Harte, 23051 Fuller Rd., 95383-9998
