According to Wikipedia, Old Navy is a clothes and accessories retailing firm that is based in the United States and is owned by the global conglomerate Gap Inc.

The company's headquarters are located in the Mission Bay district of San Francisco, California, in the United States. Old Navy's flagship shops, which can be found in New York City, Seattle, Chicago, San Francisco, Manila, and Mexico City, are among the retail establishments that provide the most square footage.

As of the 18th of January, 2023, there are 1,137 Old Navy retail outlets located around the United States. California has 123 Old Navy retail stores, making it the state with the oldest Navy locations in the United States.

This figure accounts for approximately 11% of all Old Navy retail stores in the United States.

According to the January 24 article "Clothing Chains, Including Old Navy, Are Closing Stores, Starting Today", on January 23, the apparel retailer Old Navy made the announcement that it will be shutting a shop in the city of Chicago.

"Our Old Navy State Street location will close end of day on Tuesday, 1/24," a spokesperson for the company told the Chicago Sun-Times in an email.
