According to the January 18 article "Walgreens and CVS Are Closing Locations, Starting Jan. 31", Walgreens will be closing a store in Houston, Texas on March 7th.
"As we expand as a leader in healthcare, we are focused on best meeting the needs of patients and customers in communities we serve by creating the right network of stores in the right locations," the spokesperson said.
According to a spokesperson, patients will not have to take any action as the pharmacy files will be automatically transferred to the nearest Walgreens location.
