According to Wikipedia, The Kroger Firm, sometimes known as simply Kroger, is an American retail company that runs supermarkets and multi-department shops throughout the United States, either directly or via its subsidiaries.

Multiple Kroger stores have announced to be closing in the near future. Many people need to find their groceries elsewhere.
According to the December 5 article "Kroger shutting down supermarket in Buckhead Friday", this coming Friday, a Kroger supermarket located in the Atlanta region will put an end to its business.
The grocery store behemoth has announced that on December 9, 2022, its Buckhead location, which is off of Piedmont Road NE, would be closing its doors.
The company claims that the closure of the location was necessary because its lease will be up for renewal the following year.
This will be the second Kroger store that will be closing down during the current month. The Decatur store on Commerce Drive that stopped operating due to falling sales and a negative profit report did so one week ago.
