BRONX - A pair of home invaders stuck up a Bronx man, zip tied him inside an elevator and then proceeded to rob his apartment, cops said.

At around 3:30 am on September 25, a 32-year-old man was riding an elevator inside his apartment building on East 149th Street across from St. Mary’s Park. Cops said as he exited the elevator, two men ran up behind him and showed off a handgun.

The gunman ordered the victim back into the elevator where they proceeded to zip tie the man’s hands. The gunman then demanded the victim’s apartment keys.

The crooks entered the apartment and took an undetermined amount of cash.

Police released video taken from a doorbell camera of the suspects in the Mott Haven robbery. However, both suspects wore hats and hoods that covered their faces.

The suspects are described as two males in their 20s. They have thin builds. They were last seen wearing all black clothing with black ski masks.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the CrimeStoppers website at https://crimestoppers.nypdonline.org/ or on Twitter @NYPDTips.
