At around 3 am on September 2, a 21-year-old man was walking down the street in the vicinity of 34 Avenue and Junction Boulevard when he was approached by two men who pounced. Cops said one of the men put the victim in a chokehold while his partner rifled through the man’s pockets and forcibly removed a cellphone and $400 cash.
Cops said the attackers hopped on bicycles and rode off.
The crooks struck again at around midnight on September 6. A 43-year-old man was sitting on a bench inside Junction Boulevard.
Three men approached the bench and punched the victim on his side. The group then forcibly removed the victim’s cellphone, gold bracelet and $40 cash.
Cops said the robbers hopped on three bicycles and rode off.
Cops said the same crew struck again at around 4:40 am on September 16, in Elmhurst.
A 52-year-old man was walking into his building at 98-13 39th Avenue when he was approached by the robbery crew.
Two of the men punched the victim and ripped his cellphone out of his hands. They also stole the victim’s wallet which had a bank card and $200 cash.
The attackers then hopped on bicycles and rode off.
