BRONX - Cops are looking for a moped riding robbery crew who shot a victim near Claremont Park.

At around 5:30 pm on August 5, a 40-year-old man parked his car and exited the vehicle in the vicinity of Webster Avenue and East 173rd Street.

As the man started walking down the street, three mopeds rode up behind and then surrounded him.

One of the crewmembers hopped off the back of one of the mopeds and displayed a gun.

The gunman tried to snatch the chain off the victim’s neck. When it didn’t break free, the gunman and the victim fought. During the fight the pendant broke off and fell to the ground.

The gunman picked up the pendant and then fired off several rounds. The victim was struck in the left shoulder and the right leg.

The gunman hopped back on the moped and the robbers rode off.

The victim was rushed to Saint Barnabas Hospital where he was treated.
