The suspect fled the bus and ran down Esplanade Avenue.
The driver was taken by EMS to a local hospital where she was treated for pain about the body.
Investigators did not comment on what triggered the argument that turned violent inside the Bronx bus. They also did not state where the MTA who was victimized, worked. The only said she was on duty at the time of the attack
Police released video of the suspect taken from inside the bus.
The suspect is described as a man with a light complexion and facial hair. He was last seen wearing a yellow shirt, red shorts and a baseball cap and wore eyeglasses.
