(Lone Tree, CO) Sweetgreen, a fast-casual restaurant that serves gourmet salads like a seasonal one with fresh peaches and goat cheese, is now open in the Vistas at Park Meadows.
The Lone Tree location (8423 Park Meadows Center Drive, #E160) is the fifth Sweetgreen location in Colorado.
Sweetgreen was started in 2007 by three college students looking for healthier fast-food options. Their first location was in Washington, D.C.
The fast-growing national chain now has five locations in Colorado, with a sixth planned for the University Hills neighborhood. Sweetgreen locations are open in Cherry Creek, Highlands Ranch, LoDo, 16th and Pearl in Denver and Park Meadows.
The 2,782-square-foot Park Meadows restaurant accommodates 24 diners and has an outdoor patio for up to 14 guests.
Sweetgreen commissioned Loveland-based artist Kayla Arroy to create an original colorful piece of art that depicts how the sun shifts throughout the year.
Some of Sweetgreen’s most popular menu items include the Kale Caesar Salad and the Guacamole Greens, loaded with roasted chicken, avocado, tomatoes, red onions, tortilla chips, and lime cilantro jalapeño vinaigrette. There are also warm dishes like the Harvest Bowl, with roasted chicken, sweet potatoes, goat cheese, apples, wild rice, and more.
Sides include rosemary focaccia breadsticks paired with creamy hummus.
Sweetgreen is open 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
