(Denver, CO) Fall down the rabbit hole to a whimsical “Alice in Wonderland”-themed pop-up bar that’s bringing boozy tea drinks back to Denver next month.
“The Alice: An Immersive Cocktail Experience” is coming to Zeppelin Station for a 12-week run starting on Feb. 23 after a successful pop-up at The Salty Dog bar in 2021.
During the pop-up, ticketed 21-and-up “curious and curiouser” guests can solve riddles and craft teapot cocktails under the watchful eye of The Mad Hatter.
The 90-minute theatrical tea party costs $40 per person. It includes a welcome drink, two bespoke cocktails and an “Eat Me” cookie, plus lots of photo opportunities with garden backdrops, characters and a grinning Cheshire Cat.
“During your thrilling adventure you will discover hidden secrets in backwards mirrors, participate in a human-sized chess match and create a tasty smoking cocktail concoction as you pick your brain and untangle whether Wonderland is all an extraordinary dream or a crazy reality,” Hidden Denver organizers say.
Zeppelin Station, a RiNo food hall, has been hosting whimsical, seasonal pop-ups, including a “Beetlejuice”-themed pop-up leading up to Halloween and then a “Nightmare Before Christmas” experience during the holiday season.
