(Denver, Colo) Would you make a reservation at a diner that promised rude service? The latest Denver pop-up is banking on it with its wait staff that’s saltier than the fries they dish out.

Karen’s Diner, an immersive pop-up that’s coming to a secret location in Denver, is taking reservations for its September debut. With a motto of “sit down and shut up,” Karen’s Diner eschews any tradition that the “customer is always right.”

Guests can expect turbulent service, singing waiters, and regular guest appearances from the manager described as the “biggest Karen of them all.”

For the uninitiated, the name Karen has, over the past few years, morphed into a pejorative to describe entitled “let me talk to a manager” types. To flip the script, the manager at this pop-up diner goes by the name Karen.

“Don't expect special treatment at this diner because it's all about Karen, and she won't be taking any of your nonsense!” an event preview says. “Come have some fun and wind the staff up to unleash your inner Karen and see their full Karen potential.”

Tickets for the diner experience are on sale now. Your $15 ticket gets you a seat at the diner and will be deducted from your restaurant bill. But if your name is Karen (and you’ve got an ID to prove it, you’ll get a free drink on the house).

The diner will be in Denver from Sept. 17 to Nov. 27.

Don’t forget to leave your one-star review.
