Unique stays are all the rage on Airbnb these days. Especially if you’re looking for a vacation closer to home, why would you want to stay somewhere run-of-the-mill or plain? Most people booking a staycation find themselves yearning for a unique stay near or even in their hometown with views or amenities they simply can’t get anywhere else.

Did you know that you can search for these unique stays on Airbnb? If you don’t want to do the legwork, don’t worry. I’ve done it for you. However, for those who want to search for their own unusual, out-of-the-box, and luxury stays on Airbnb, you can simply filter your stays by selecting such homes as “cabin” “treehouse” “island” and even “tiny home” or “tent”. That’s right, you can stay in a tent on Airbnb. Most of these tents aren’t what you think either - I’m not talking a shabby a-frame tent where you’re sleeping on the floor. Think more like an exotic safari tent or a full-on yurt with a kingsized bed. So take a look at these unique, unusual, and enchanting Airbnb stays. Then, book one of them for a relaxing vacation this weekend. You deserve to unwind and relax, and COVID hasn’t done anyone any favors in the vacation department. So why not enjoy a vacay closer to home?

Some of these stays would be perfect for a romantic weekend alone with your significant other - let’s say for an anniversary or a special occasion (or even “just because”). Some of these stays would be well suited for a bachelor or bachelorette party - I’m thinking the houseboat or “earthhouse” for those! Some of these stays are perfect for those wanting to get away and enjoy a bit of nature for un-plugged family time.
