These are the most famous and notorious real-life British pirates who roamed the Caribbean seas during the so-called ‘Golden Age of Piracy’ between 1650 and 1720. They include Henry Morgan, William ‘Captain’ Kidd, ‘Blackbeard’ (real name Edward Teach), Charles Vane, ‘Calico Jack’ (real name John Rackham), Mary Read, and Ann Bonny.
