Actor Ben Affleck finds himself amid an ex-lovers’ quarrel, according to reports from Radar. Affleck and [ex-wife] Jennifer Garner were seen quarreling on the streets of Los Angeles over the weekend. The couple was seen in the middle of a heated argument near Garner's car.
Affleck was visibly flustered. Photos of the row popped up on Daily Mail, the duo was photographed arguing rather intensely. Affleck seemed more animated and puffed erratically on a cigarette. Garner stood unpoised by her ex-husband's antics.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner share three children; Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10. Their marriage lasted for about ten years.
Despite an obvious discord, Affleck and Garner seem to be able to mull things over. They have managed to maintain a civil co-parenting relationship regardless of Affleck's battle with substance abuse.
News of the verbal altercation came only hours after Affleck and “on-again” girlfriend J Lo announced the purchase of their new home together.
“The couple are reportedly in escrow and putting down over $50M on a massive mansion,” as reported by TMZ. “The 20,000 square foot estate is located in the luxurious Bel-Air neighborhood in Los Angeles, and can easily accommodate their blended family as it features ten bedrooms and seventeen bathrooms,” reports Daily Mail.
There is also speculation that the purchase of a new home is a sign of bigger things to come; like a wedding. While Affleck and Garner divorced in 2018, J Lo broke off her engagement with the retired baseball player, Alex Rodriguez, only weeks before going public again with Affleck.
