It hurts when you find out your spouse has been cheating, but it hurts even worse when you find out they've been cheating with a family member. No words describe the pain you feel when you find out they've cheated with the one person who brought you into the world.
That is the reality of one TikToker who shared with the world how she found out her husband was cheating on her with her mother, and they were plotting to take her children away from her.
TikToker, @leandra.zimmerman has gone viral after telling her story. The original video she posted has been viewed over 2.7 million times and has over 300,000 likes, sharing how she cried to her mom about her husband trying to take her children, only to find out they were having an affair and her mom was the mastermind behind it all.
After that video went viral, users asked her for storytime to explain what happened.
In a follow-up video, Leandra shared how everything went down. She said that when she was on her third pregnancy at 21, her husband was in the military, and they had no family nearby. When she became ill at 20 weeks, she needed to be placed in the hospital, and they had no one to help them with their other two children. They called her mother to come down to help.
Leandra shared that she noticed something was up after her husband stopped visiting her in the hospital, and one day when he did come, he had shaved, which was unlike him.
After weeks, she finally got out of the hospital and said that her husband and mother's behavior was odd. According to Leandra, they were really touchy and feely, and it made her uncomfortable.
She said that whenever she thought something was going on with them, she would immediately talk herself out of it and tell herself she was crazy. She said she believes she did this because of childhood trauma. Growing up, she was always made to believe she was crazy.
She asked her mother if she was sleeping with her husband, and her mother denied it. They both ended up denying it.
After Leandra felt better, her mother returned home to her third husband. She said that her mother, unhappy in her own marriage, continued to stay in contact with her husband. At the time, she was unaware that they were still talking.
As time passed, her husband plotted to take their children from her by using her mental health against her. She said she received custody papers in the mail. Distraught, she went to her mother for advice. Her mother told her she couldn't leave and take the kids because that would be kidnapping.
Looking back on it, she realizes it was all a part of their plan.
