It’s almost here! Black Friday! The colloquial term for the Friday following Thanksgiving Day where almost all stores (online and brick and mortar) offer highly promoted sales at discounted prices and often open very early.
And, when I say, early. I mean, early, as in, as early as midnight or even on Thanksgiving Day. During this high-traffic shopping time, people are usually lined up outside of stores waiting for them to open and can even be seen pushing over other people to get the best deals.
In fact, years ago, I attempted shopping on Black Friday in the wee morning hours, only to be cold and frustrated, leaving with very few things that I planned to purchase.
So, while I do believe that the deals are amazing, I’m simply not into being trampled over to save an additional amount of money. Not only this, but with the pandemic still being “a thing”, I don’t want to risk exposure at the cost of a $5 stainless steel set of mixing bowls; one of the items that I stood in line for years ago.
Stay Safe and Shop Online with SimplyCodes
So, if you are anything like me and want to safely do your shopping and also catch some great deals and discount codes, I would recommend staying home and shopping online. Wouldn’t you agree?
In fact, over the past several months, I have had several experiences using online coupon extensions that have helped me save a bit of money, in particular, SimplyCodes.
What is SimplyCodes?
SimplyCodes is a coupon browser extension for desktop (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari) and now mobile (iOS Safari) that was designed to fix the frustrations people have with other coupon extensions on the market.
For example, in the past, I would add various extensions to save me money, but when I went to use the code or extension, it was expired or didn’t work. These are the kind of issues that people have and often get frustrated.
In addition to this, they may feel frustrated if the extension didn’t or doesn’t cover enough stores, especially a person’s favorite store. Frustrations like this will cause someone to delete the extension altogether. Trust me. I know.
As an online shopper using coupon code extensions, I have appreciated using SimplyCodes mainly because of its ease in using, but also because it pops up automatically and has covered every store that I have shopped at online.
As a matter of fact, SimplyCodes has the largest library of verified promo codes of any extension out there (3 million-plus and counting) and covers more stores (78,000+). Thank you, SimplyCodes.
I have found great codes for retailers such as Leaps and Rebounds. A few months ago, I was looking for a Leaps and Rebounds Stabilizer Bar for my Leaps and Rebounds Fitness Trampoline.
I did a Google search to check prices before going to their site and didn’t find any. But when I went to the Leaps and Rebounds site with my SimplyCodes extension, a 10% off code (FEELMOREGOODER) immediately popped. Even saving 10% was helpful as the average price for the bar is $70.
Lastly, SimplyCodes also has very strict and transparent privacy measures with no tracking or collecting any data which I greatly appreciate and know so many other online shoppers appreciate, as well.
Available for Mobile Devices
SimplyCodes is among the very first shopping extensions available for mobile. With Apple opening up browser extensions on mobile Safari for the first time in late September, SimplyCodes became one of the first apps to help people save money on their phones — which is where more than half of eCommerce purchases are made today.
