(CHARLOTTE, N.C.) The COVID-19 vaccine has brought back a lot of great summer pastimes. Sporting events, Fourth of July fireworks and more have made the ultimate summer comeback.
Indoor and outdoor concerts are also making their way back into people’s summer routines this year. Here are the top six summer concerts in the Charlotte, North Carolina area.
6. Jonas Brothers, Oct. 12
The Jonas Brothers, a household name since the 2010’s, will visit the PNC Music Pavilion right as the concert season nears its end. The show will start at 7 p.m. Tickets start at $50 for lawn seats via Vivid Seats.
5. Micheal Bublé , Aug. 17
Known for his Christmas classics, Bublé is coming to the Spectrum Center for his “An Evening With Michael Bublé '' Tour. The start time is 8 p.m. Tickets start at $111 on ticketmaster. The North American Tour kicks off Aug. 13, which makes Charlotte the third show on the tour.
4. Glass Animals, Sept. 4
Glass Animals, one of the newest hot bands based out of England, will visit the Queen City this September. Their hit song “Heat Waves” topped charts all of 2020. The indie rock artists will play at the Charlotte Metro Credit Union Amphitheatre at 7:30 p.m. Lawn tickets start at $124 on Vivid Seats.
3. Chris Stapleton, Aug. 12
After not being able to hit the road in 2020 due to the pandemic, country music star Chris Stapleton will perform at the PNC Music Pavilion at 7 p.m. The concert will be a part of his “All-American Roadshow” Tour. Known for his hits “Starting Over” and “Broken Halos,” Stapaleon will be another big talent to visit the area. Lawn tickets start at $46 on Seatgeek.
2. Maroon 5, Sept. 8
One of the biggest music acts to visit the Charlotte area will be Maroon 5. They will perform at the PNC Music Pavilion at 7 p.m. With lead singer Adam Levine at the helm, the band has topped charts throughout the 2000’s and the 2010’s. Tickets start at $40 dollars for the lawn via Live Nation.
1. Garth Brooks, Sept. 25
In another rescheduled concert from the pandemic days, Garth Brooks will visit the Bank of America Stadium, where the Carolina Panthers play. Brooks, who is one of the top-selling artists of all time. will start his tour July 10 in Las Vegas. The show will be a hot commodity as tickets start at $189 via SeatGeek.
