Discovery Park lighthouse marks the northern extent of Elliot Bay. The West Point Lighthouse is the main feature of the Discovery Park and is 1.5 miles away from the parking lot or the Discovery Park's visitor center. Under the rule of the discovery park, visitors can have access to the beach and trail by foot.
Parking space is available in the discovery park, and one has to get parking permission. The west point lighthouse is a perfect spot for a family picnic, photoshoots, walking, or playing with your furry friend. It is open 24 hours for visitors.
The lighthouse is in the center of the park and offers mesmerizing views of the sunset and sunrise. You get to enjoy the majestic views of the mountains on the far side of the beach.
The best time to visit the Lighthouse is May to December and is best known for hiking and trailing. Children under the age of 6, elderly above 62, and people with physical injuries are not permitted to walk on the beachside.
