A coyote attacked a toddler at a California beach, captured on a video. The attack happened on Thursday night near the Huntington Beach Pier, as reported by FOXLA. The unidentified child was together with her family when the animal, which witnesses said was lurking nearby, attacked her. A video posted by FOX A reporter Travis Rice shows the instant the coyote was on top of the girl for about 15 seconds then ran away.

"It was all the quiet here went under then came back," Garie Joncon, a witness, told KABC-TV. " "We saw it, then suddenly it went in by this family, and there was a toddler on the underside, so like five minutes later, we walked back, the whole crowd around the baby. The Orange County Register reported that officers spotted and shot two coyotes and killed one. However, the police didn't know if it was the coyote behind the attack.
