A California lottery player is now a millionaire all thanks to winning a big prize playing a scratcher game.

The California lottery announced in a press release that Varoujan Minasian purchased the millionaire-making scratcher at Fry’s Hollywood Shell in Los Angeles. The ticket Minasian purchased was for the Xtreme Multiplier scratcher game.

What is Xtreme Multiplier?

The Xtreme Multiplier game is a $10 scratcher that offers 14 top prizes of $1 million. As of this publishing, there are still seven $1 million prizes up for grabs.

The scratcher appeals to people who like multiplier games. This game give the player the opportunity to multiply the uncovered prize by 2X, 5X, or 10X.

The secondary prizes for the game are also appealing. There are 29 prizes worth $20,000 and another 29 worth $10,000. Other prizes range from $5,000 to a free ticket.
