Palm Beach Chef Clay Conley Launches All-In-One Concept Food & Beverage For Delivery and Dine-In Service

A new restaurant launch in West Palm Beach is now offering a progressive new concpet where popular Palm Beach County restaurateur Clay Conleny can serve his multi-cuisine collection in one space.

Dubbed Food and Beverage, it's the latest move from Ember Group partners Conley, Sam Slattery, and Piper Quinn, who together operate Palm Beach establishments Buccan and Imoto, as well as West Palm Beach's Grato.

According to the group founders, Food and Beverage was an idea born from the pandemic. The growing demand for delivery and takeout, coupled with limited dine-in service, not only put the nation's restaurant industry on pause — it also forced restauranteurs to rethink their business strategy.

In response, Conley and his team have reimagined their largest restaurant, Grato, transforming it into a hybrid dining concept that brings dishes from all three restaurants together into one menu.

At Food and Beverage, a socially-distanced dine-in experience will create a “one-stop” solution for customers looking to indulge in all the group has to offer.

"Before the delivery boom, we were so focused on the full-service experience that the idea to do something hybrid like this just wasn’t a priority, but the pandemic quickly changed all that," explains Conley. "A commissary-kitchen-style operation is the perfect way for us to support the growing [delivery] demand with an elegant solution that delivers everything our patrons want most."

Food and Beverage brings together a collection of dishes from Conley's celebrated menus representing everything from Buccan's take on the modern American grill and Imoto's sushi to Grato's modern Italian motif. The specially-curated menu includes favorites like meatballs, brick-oven pizzas, and housemade pastas from Grato; shortrib empanadas, corn agnolotti, and a prime beef burger from Buccan; and Peking duck spring rolls, the Naturo Maki roll with salmon, tuna, yellowtail and snapper, and the Yaki Udon pork belly from Imoto. 

"If mom wants a tuna roll, dad is craving a burger, and the kids are asking for pizza, everyone will be satisfied with a one stop option," adds Slattery.

Looking to imbibe? The Food and Beverage concept also combines the group's varied drink menus. Cocktails from all three restuarants can be enjoyed in-house, or ordered in single or multiple serving to-go containers.

With Food and Beverage, take-out and delivery dishes will be modified to ensure the best quality for travel, while the dishes presented for dine-in will remain unchanged. The menu is available seven days a week from 5 to 9:30 p.m., and delivery is offered exclusively with Delivery.com.
