You can find it all at Elisabetta’s Ristorante and Pizzeria, which recently opened a second location in downtown West Palm Beach.
The restaurant from Big Time Restaurant Group’s corporate culinary director Lisabet Summa unveiled its new waterfront establishment in early January, building on the success of its first location, which opened in July 2019 off Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach.
Made From Scratch
A sister establishment to Big Time's popular Louie Bossi’s brand with locations in Boca Raton and Fort Lauderdale, Elisabetta’s offers Summa's signature approach to a "scratch kitchen." In other words, the focus is on made-to-order and housemade everything.
The menu highlights a number of in-house items from pastas and bread, to in-house dry-aged steaks and that house-cured salumi — the Italian art of curing meat (think pancetta, salami, prosciutto, and 'nduja to name a few).
An ode to the chef's Italian heritage and name, the eatery presents classical dishes that are all prepared and made to-order. For Summa, it was important that everything at Elisabetta’s be made from scratch — including sauces, desserts, and gelatos.
In addition to house-made items, the restaurant offers a large selection of pizzas, cooked in ovens imported from Naples, Italy — two located inside the restaurant and one outside. Popular options include the Roman Lunch, a pizza hearth baked bread with burrata and prosciutto di parma; or the Cacio e Pepe, and a white pizza topped with Pecorino Romano.
Italian Wine & Cocktails
For cocktails and wine, Ervin Machado, beverage director for both Louie Bossi and Elisabetta's. He offers his expertise as a level two sommelier, paired with a deep knowledge of Italian cocktails and liquors.
As a result, the restaurant offers 70 wines by the glass and a massive 400 bottle wine list that features a large variety of classic (and affordable) Italian wines and proseccos. Not a wine lover? The bar is also well-known for its classic Italian cocktails, from #Negroni’s on tap to refreshing #AperolSpritzes.
Elisabetta's is open for dinner seven nights a week; lunch Monday through Friday; and brunch with unlimited mimosas, Aperol Spritzes, Bloody Mary’s, and Froze, served Saturdays and Sundays.
