Since Kwame Kilpatrick has been out he has turned over a new leaf and has made a lot of changes within his life.
Kwame has not been shy about how he will continue on this positive note, some may be surprised but he has decided to start preaching at a Detroit church.
While Kwame was in prison he realized that he needed God in his life and since he has established that relationship, he wants to share it with the world.
A lot of times people have to go through certain situations to receive clarity and continue to grow on a positive note.
In an article from Fox 2 News called "Report: Ex-Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick turns to ministry, plans to remarry" by Dave Spencer and David Komer elaborated on Kwame Kilpatricks new goals.
Dave Spencer and David Komer stated "During the interview, Kilpatrick spoke a lot about the change that happened in prison, counseling other inmates and giving thanks for his commuted sentence.
"He says he fell to his knees and prayed to God, prayed to be loyal to God," Lengel said.
Now, he's taking that loyalty to God and spreading the message. He plans to preach this Sunday at the Little Rock Baptist Church in Detroit."
This may come as a shock to many but, for Kwame to be open and share his story will only be an example for people to see that change is possible.
