Just a few days ago we received information that people that reside in Michigan no longer have to wear masks. This announcement has raised a lot of questions in the state of Michigan regarding what places, vaccinated and not vaccinated.
In addition, cases of the virus are still rising in schools, people are still going to the hospital regarding the virus and people are still spreading it whether they are social distancing or not.
How are we able to feel fully confident in removing our masks with so many things that are unknown. In an article from Fox 2 News called "Do you have to wear a mask in Michigan?" by Amber Ainsworth stated
"The CDC said that vaccinated people should still wear masks in crowded small spaces, including buses, planes, hospitals, prisons, and homeless shelters.
Michigan's new order also lifts the outdoor mask mandate for unvaccinated people. Last week, the state said that people who were vaccinated did not need to wear masks at outdoor events that had fewer than 100 people.
The mandate that says unvaccinated people must wear masks inside is scheduled to expire July 1, meaning that if the state does not issue a new order, no one will be required to wear a mask after that day, regardless of vaccination status."
In addition, it would be naive to think that some people who have not been vaccinated won't try to walk into establishments without a mask.
This has happened even when a mask was required, it's all about keeping your family and yourself safe and making the right decision for your lives.
