Lavender Hill Farm Annual Plant Sale

The Lavender Hill Farm has an annual plant sale and lucky for us, it is just around the corner.

Starting May 21 and in motion until May 23, Lavender Hill Farm invites guests to stop by and shop the outdoor plant sale. Lavender quantities are limited and are available on a first-come basis. There is a limit of 100 lavender plugs per customer. During the sale, lavender plugs will be priced at $4.50 each. The lavender options include:

  • Grosso
  • Hidcote Blue
  • Munstead
  • Vera
  • Hidcote Pink
  • Maillette
  • Miss Katherine
  • Melissa
  • Twickel Purple
  • Victorian Amethyst
  • Edelweiss
  • Hidcote Giant

Alongside the annual plant sale event, Lavender Hill Farms also hosts many events, tours, crafts, classes, yoga and workshops.

Located just minutes away from Charlevoix, Bay Harbor, Petoskey, and Boyne City, you can find this hidden gem. As soon as you step out of your car, you'll be greeted by fresh lavender smells and the scene of a variety of purple colored lavender as far as the eye can see. Lavender Hill Farm has 25 varieties of some 10,000 of the fragrant plants which means that lavender lovers have an abundance to discover and experience. Here is what there is to do around this Lavender Farm:

Taste Lavender Food

Once you make your way to the gift shop you'll find a variety of lavender items including food and drinks. This flavor is so unique and a must try while you're here, especially with the array of items offered. From lavender white chocolate popcorn to lavender cookies, lavender soda, and more, there are so many options that will give you a mouthwatering new taste to experience.

Guided Farm Tour

Interested in a golf cart ride guided tour? Upon arrival, wander over to the gift shop to sign up for this excursion. The knowledgeable guides will offer a ton of unique information that is worth this fun ride around the farm. On the tour you'll learn about the history of the farm, the processes used at the farm and also fun facts about the plants, uses of lavender and other interesting information as well.

Attend An Event

Lavender Hill Farm hosts special events throughout the summer including concerts, lunches, yoga, barn dances and movies. There are even Lunch & Lavender options available which includes a gourmet box lunch that highlights lavender. Head over to their website to find a list of upcoming events.

Take A Selfie

The many rolling fields of lavender make the perfect photo opportunity. You'll surely get a few Instagram-worthy shots of yourself, or of the immaculate purple fields view.

Shop At The Gift Shop

This gift shop itself is adorable and a must stop. It will be the perfect place to find all the lavender souvenirs you could possibly think of. From satchels and décor, to oils and lavender flavored foods; treat yourself along with others to the luxury of lavender. Here you'll even find items such as spa products that could just be the perfect gift or an item for your own bathroom. Most of the products you'll find here are crafted by local artisans, women-owned businesses, and boast all natural ingredients.
