Recipe: Avocado mackerel soup

BY's Recipe: Avocado Mackerel soup is easy to prepare and requires no cooking experience. Children under ten need adult supervision.

Servings: 4. Prep. Time: 15-20 minutes. Cooking Time: 25-30 minutes. Total Cooking Time: 40-50 minutes.

What you need

  • Stove or microwave,
  • 40-50 minutes.

Required Ingredients

  • 1 pound fish fillets (such as Mackerel, tilapia, or cod) or mushroom for vegans and vegetarians,
  • One medium-sized fresh avocado.

Optional Ingredients

  • 2 cups of chicken stock,
  • A pound of fillet Mackerel fish,
  • Chopped vegetables or fruits.
  • Mushrooms for vegans and vegetarians,
  • Salt or sugar to taste,
  • 1 Teaspoon of Knorr, garlic, or curry powder.


Step 1.

  • Cut your fish,
  • Chop vegetables or fruits and blend or mash avocado only.
  • Set them aside.

Step 2.

  • Use a medium-sized pot,
  • Add a half cup of water,
  • Add a cup of chicken stock and cut fish (optional for vegans),
  • Stir and cook for about 10 minutes,
  • Add salt and curry and stir for a few seconds.

Step 3.

  • Add blended avocado, chopped onions, and stir,
  • Cook for about 15 minutes until thick to your taste,
  • Add chopped vegetables or fruits and stir for a few seconds,
  • Cover the pot and cook for about a few seconds,
  • Your meal is ready (see the photo below).
Serve with bread.

  1. Use a microwave-friendly bowl,
  2. Follow steps 1, 2, and the first line of step 3,
  3. Stir and cook for about 10 minutes,
  4. Add chopped vegetables and fruits and cook for about a minute,
  5. Add salt and stir for a few seconds,
  6. Cover the bowl and cook for about two minutes.
