Homegrown tomatoes for our German-themed dinner
Tomatoes from our backyard edible garden turned into a German-style salad or Wurstsalat with gelbwurst, a traditional sausage from Bavaria, parsley, a sprinkle of coarse salt and a drizzle of vinegar. Also on the table are Munich and Nuremberg sausages, potato dumplings, Bavarian rye bread and grapefruit-flavored radler. Prost dear friends!
