In this new exhibit, drift deep into space and experience the majesty and wonder of our universe purely through images. Enjoy this event with a contemplative, aesthetic, and fun experience. In the centuries that followed, telescopes grew in size and power.

Edwin Hubble, who the Hubble Telescope is named after, used the largest telescope of his day in the 1920s at the Mt. Wilson Observatory near Pasadena, Calif., to discover galaxies beyond our own. Hubble's launch in April 1990 marked the most significant advance in astronomy since Galileo's telescope.
