Where do you think of when you hear about soothing open air massages with an ocean view? Well lucky for you - one can think of Palm Beach! Palm Beach is a place of poolside bubbly, swaying palms and relaxation. If you are looking for a soothing experience then head to the beaches of Palm Beach

Every time I have been to Palm Beach, Florida, it has been an unsurpassed experience of relaxation and wellness. I returned home with a sense of total tranquility. So today, you sjould start looking for road trips to Palm Beach, Florida for your next escape to serenity.

One place that I found happiness in the past at Palm Beach was the Eau Spa at Eau Palm Beach Resort and Spa. This adult fairytale environment comes to life as you lounge is one of their swinging chairs that dangle over a reflection pool. Yes some spas are all about the green juice, but this one is all cupcakes and champagne bubbles. Think more Alice in Wonderland!

Cabana Life

Let’s have full disclosure here – in the past I always thought that cabanas were for sun worshipers that never wanted to leave the pool. After experiencing a bit of cabana life at Eau Palm Beach Resort and Spa myself one spring, my ideas concerning cabanas have made a complete turnaround. Cabanas are a great place to relax and unwind. Plus, they’re perfect for almost any type of vacation. So let’s explore the virtues of a Cabana Day!

Escape the Sun

Pool days are the best when they don’t end with a sunburn and Palm Beach has some of the best. You have the views and sounds of the ocean right there for your enjoyment. No sound machine needed to enjoy those waves.

Enjoy the sun at Palm Beach pools without the risk with the shade of a cabana discussed above or a pool umbrella. Your dermatologist will thank you. If you feel the need to soak up a bit of sunshine, most cabanas or lounge chairs can be reserved for you in advance.

Why Palm Beach

Palm Beach is a place where the world comes to enjoy effortless living and relaxed luxury. This is definitely not the luxury of St. Moritz, Switzerland, but a luxury that encompasses the laidback essence of Florida.

Luxury Shopping

So it is time to indulge in some retail therapy when in Palm Beach - here do you go? We all know retail therapy is effective at relieving stress—it's science—and there’s really no better place to shop than the Palm Beaches. The Beach of Palm Beach wants to tell us that this is what they plan for us to do when we visit for a day of shopping….

Start at Palm Beach’s Worth Avenue, which rivals shopping legends like Rodeo Drive and Fifth Avenue. Stores here include Chanel, Gucci and Jimmy Choo and Clematis Street, two of our favorite walkable districts for shopping, dining and entertainment. Delray Beach’s charming Atlantic Avenue is lined with boutiques selling apparel to fun finds from local artisans; Boca Raton has the upscale Mizner Park; and Palm Beach Gardens’ indoor The Gardens Mall and outdoor PGA Commons offer something for everyone.

In West Palm Beach, stroll Rosemary Square and Clematis Street, two of our favorite walkable districts for shopping, dining and entertainment.

The History of Palm Beach

Per Wiki, Settlers began arriving in modern-day Palm Beach as early as 1872, and opened a post office about five years later. Elisha Newton "Cap" Dimick, later the town's first mayor, established Palm Beach's first hotel, the Cocoanut Grove House, in 1880, but Standard Oil tycoon Henry Flagler became instrumental in transforming the island of jungles and swamps into a winter resort for the wealthy. Flagler and his workers constructed the Royal Poinciana Hotel in 1894, The Breakers in 1896, and Whitehall in 1902; extended the Florida East Coast Railway southward to the area by 1894; and developed a separate city to house hotel workers, which later became West Palm Beach. The town of Palm Beach officially incorporated on April 17, 1911.
