Planning a trip to Milwaukee and want to see everything that the city has to offer? You are at the right place as I have narrowed down seven beautiful places in Milwaukee for you!

If you think Milwaukee is just an industrial Hub or home to famous motorcyclist Harley Davidson - well, think again because Milwaukee is a city of outdoor fun and indoor entertainment.

Saunter Across The LakeFront

Want to experience some city hustle-bustle? Milwaukee’s lovely lakefront is the ideal place to take a lazy walk. If you want to spend a day shopping or visiting galleries, maybe have a bite while enjoying the serene view of Lake Michigan- the downtown area is just the perfect place. Don't forget to visit some famous landmarks while you are there, particularly the War Memorial center which honors WWII and the Korean war. Milwaukee Art Museum and Discovery world should also be on your bucket list.

Milwaukee Public Museum

Public museum? That does not sound like FUN! But don't be fooled by the name because Milwaukee Public Museum has much to offer to history buffs. If your little ones are crazy dinosaur fans, this museum is a perfect place as it exhibits the intriguing history of life-size dinosaurs. Other exhibits include reconstruction of rainforest and Milwaukee’s history by the name of ‘’Streets of Old Milwaukee Exhibit’’. There are as many as 17 exhibits in the museum to enjoy. It is a truly fascinating way to spend a day experiencing things from times untold.

Go For a Dip At Bradford Beach

Situated on Lake Michigan’s shores, the Bradford beach is the ultimate place to take a dip. Bradford beach made it to the Travel Channel’s top 11 city beaches. It is the ultimate place to hang out, play games, sunbathe, or just socialize. If you are up for an athletic day or just want to soak the sun, Bradford beach is the place to go. And if you get hungry, get a snack from the nearby shop!

Have Fun Exploring Mitchell Park Domes

The exterior of Mitchell Park Domes is eye-catching and truly impressive but the interior is where the fun starts. The three Glass domes were built in 1959 and stand tall at 85 feet. Enjoy three different climates in one place. In the Desert dome, explore the deserts of the world. In the Tropical dome, take a stroll through the jungle and enjoy the natural habitat right in the heart of Milwaukee. Afterward, treat yourself to the world of exquisite flowers and exotic birds at the floral show Dome. In the Show Dome, various festivals are held throughout the year. The most popular one is Christmas and some light shows at night.

Spend Time With Animals At The County Zoo

Animals are always a welcome company when you need a break. The Milwaukee County zoo is home to 2000 animals from 354 species. It’s an awesome place to spend some quality family time. You can meet Humboldt Penguins, glorious African lions, and snow leopards. Not only this, but kids can feed the animals. Afterward, don't forget to hop on a carousel and live your childhood all over again.

Enjoy the hidden swings beneath the Holton Street bridge

If you love to do some offbeat things for fun, you'd love to swing in these half vertical and horizontal tires. You can also take a stroll around once done enjoying the swings - there are several pedestrian paths along the riverside.

Explore the Mitchell Park conservatory

Spanning across 4200 square miles area, it houses three domes - show dome, tropical dome, and arid dome. There is a wide variety of plant life to explore in these domes. The show dome is peaceful to sit around and enjoy the train rides behind. Walk through the domes and soak in the greenery especially when it's cold outside.
