NEW ORLEANS, LA — This Saturday, July 17, spend the weekend with the Nayo Jones Experience, presented by the Jazz Playhouse. Upcoming show dates include July 24, July 31, August 21, and August 28.
Nayo Jones debuted back in 2012 at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. Since then, she has opened for artists as Chris Botti, Otis & the Temptations, and The Whispers & Lakeside. Although she is still a newbie in the music industry, she already shows an ability to capture her audience whenever she is on stage.
Jones cherishes the classic tracks she listened to when she was younger. She commits to perform and showcase the “authenticity of music”. Her discography includes her first original album “My Name is Nayo Jones”, a “Holiday Collection” and an EP titled “Nayo”.
Performing various genres from jazz to adult R&B, she is currently doing a tour alongside New Orleans' known jazz trumpeter, Kermit Ruffins. Ruffins also brought her along to be featured in his latest album, #imsoneworleans.
Experience her performance in person for $35, with a special event valet rate of $5 per vehicle. Each table will include a complimentary glass of Twenty Acres wine per ticket, cocktail service to the Jazz Playhouse's fully stocked bar and food selections.
Located in the heart of the French Quarter, at 300 Bourbon St, the Jazz Playhouse will keep your seats held 30 minutes after the show starts, lateness will be considered a no-show. Refunds upon cancellation are available 48 hours before the event.
