Last Sunday night, someone stole four wheels and tires from a 2023 Camry at Prichard’s Used Cars. They posted about the theft on Facebook group What's Happening in Cleburne County. They are asking the community to please come forward if they have any information. A $ 1,000 reward is being offered for their return, no questions asked.
The fact that something like this was even able to take place points to a bigger issue. The used car lot is right on the road and lit up fairly well. A theft of this magnitude should not have been able to happen right under everyone's noses, with not a suspect to speak of. Does that not strike anybody else as odd? It wasn't long ago you couldn't drive through the city of Heflin after 9 p.m. and not get pulled over. Now, a whole set of wheels and tires can disappear off a car sitting right in plain view of the road? What's really going on?
