The Detroit Lions revealed their complete 2022 regular season schedule on Thursday night during the NFL’s schedule release event.

The team's schedule is as follows:

• Sept. 18, Week 2: vs. Washington — Kickoff at 1 p.m.
• Sept. 25, Week 3: @ Minnesota — Kickoff at 1 p.m.
• Oct. 2, Week 4: vs. Seattle — Kickoff at 1 p.m.
• Oct. 9, Week 5: @ New England — Kickoff at 1 p.m.
• Oct. 16, Week 6:— BYE WEEK

CDC urges Metro Detroiters to wear masks due to 'high' COVID spread

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is recommending that Metro Detroiters wear face masks after several counties in the area were upgraded to a “high” COVID-19 risk category.

As of Thursday, the CDC has identified the following Metro Detroit counties as having high community COVID transmission rates:

• Livingston
• Macomb
• Oakland
• St. Clair
• Washtenaw
• Wayne

State of Michigan offering $10K downpayment for first-time homebuyers

The state of Michigan is offering up to $10,000 to help new buyers purchase their first home.

The MI $10K Downpayment Assistance Program gives eligible buyers up to $7,500 in loans in most locations and up to $10,000 in certain zip codes.

The criteria needed to qualify for loans are as follows:

• You must meet the county's household income limit
• Home sale price must be lower than $224,500
• Minimum credit score of 640

Motor City Comic Con returns to Metro Detroit this weekend

Motor City Comic Con is returning to the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi this weekend.

Hours for MCCC are as follows:

Friday – 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Saturday – 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Sunday – 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
