Pfizer highlights COVID booster protection against omicron

On Wednesday, Pfizer said a booster dose of its COVID-19 vaccine may offer critical protection against the new omicron variant.

Pfizer and its partner BioNTech are already working to produce an omicron-specific vaccine in the event that it’s needed.

Despite Oxford school district's declination, AG Nessel will still investigate school shooting

After the Oxford school district's declination of her initial offer to investigate the events leading to last week's mass school shooting, Michigan AG Dana Nessel will investigate the situation anyway.

According to Oxford schools, they are hiring a third party to look into school procedures and safety.

“So, I guess what I'm saying is, we're not going to just do nothing, right," Nessel said. "We asked for their open cooperation and at this point, they're not ready for that yet. But that doesn't mean that we're not going to, you know, what I say, launch our own investigation. What I mean is review all of these materials, have all of these conversations, and then go from there.”

Amazon server outage impacting business across Metro Detroit, US

On Tuesday, an Amazon server outage affected multiple delivery operations and impacted businesses throughout southeast Michigan.

As of Tuesday evening, Amazon said that its network issues have been mostly resolved, and now it is working on the recovery of any impaired services.

Broadway in Detroit offering three-show pacakge deals for 2022

Broadway In Detroit will be hosting a three-show series at the Music Hall Center for the Performing Arts in 2022.

Three-show package deals start at $99 for main floor seats for all three shows on Tuesday & Wednesday nights.

Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. online at and in person at the Fisher Theatre Box Office.
