WDIV-Detroit reporter goes viral for skateboarding during broadcast

During a recent story about Detroit’s Chandler Skatepark, WDIV-Detroit reporter Victor Williams, who was covering the park, rode around on a skateboard during a live broadcast.

In a tweet, Williams said "In all seriousness - as a child, I would have killed for a new park and mentors in the skateboarding community. Glad to see it’s happening in Detroit."

Metro Detroit home daycare has license suspended

Following the results of a recent investigation, the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA), Child Care Licensing Bureau (CCLB), has suspended the family child care home license of Vagula Aroulselvam, Mithu Home Day Care in Canton.

In a press release, LARA said “It was critical to take emergency action to protect the health, welfare, and safety of the children at this family child care home."
